Trump Brings Peace to the Middle East Before He's Even President Again

Donald Trump promised that if he was re-elected, he would bring a ceasefire to the ongoing war between Israel and Palestine.

He even said he would do this before his inauguration.

And he has.

A ceasefire deal has been brokered by Trump between Israel's government and the Hamas terror group responsible for the October 7, 2023 attack.

Hamas will release its hostages, including seven Americans, and Israel will release Palestinian prisoners it detained as its military campaigned on the Gaza Strip. All Israeli soldiers will also leave Gaza.

Trump got all of this done in less than a week and just five days before he's sworn in again as president.

Trump touted using peace through strength on Truth Social, "This EPIC ceasefire agreement could have only happened as a result of our Historic Victory in November, as it signaled to the entire World that my Administration would seek Peace and negotiate deals to ensure the safety of all Americans, and our Allies. I am thrilled American and Israeli hostages will be returning home to be reunited with their families and loved ones."

The President-elect continued, "We will continue promoting PEACE THROUGH STRENGTH throughout the region. This is only the beginning of great things to come for America, and indeed, the World!"

This development comes in the wake of threats Trump made in December about what might happen if the hostages were not released before his inauguration.

He wrote at the time, "If the hostages are not released prior to January 20, 2025, the date that I proudly assume Office as President of the United States, there will be ALL HELL TO PAY in the Middle East, and for those in charge who perpetrated these atrocities against Humanity."

Trump added, "Those responsible will be hit harder than anybody has been hit in the long and storied History of the United States of America. RELEASE THE HOSTAGES NOW!"

The ceasefire happened through delegations from Israel and Hamas who negotiated the deal in Qatar.

Of course, true to form, Joe Biden tried to take credit for this.

FACT: Biden had 15 of months of conflict in which he could have attempted to do this, and he didn't.

News outlet The Times of Israel even said that "Trump envoy swayed Netanyahu more in one meeting than Biden did all year."

Nice try, Joe.

Ending this conflict in the Middle East was but one of the promises Donald Trump made during his campaign, and one he has fulfilled before he even steps foot in the White House again.

Here's to more big wins over the next four years. Lord knows we could use them.
