Trans women - meaning they are biologically male no matter what they call themselves - have been participating in and damaging women's sports for a number of years.
A normal and reasonable person might think this is unfair because men are naturally bigger, faster and stronger than most women, so the men would simply dominate the women.
That's exactly what's been happening.
On Wednesday, President Donald Trump signed an executive order to put a stop to it.
The New York Post reported Wednesday, "President Trump will sign an executive order Wednesday intending to keep biological men out of women’s sports through Title IX — pressuring schools to comply with the mandate by threatening to pull federal funds."
"The order will also mandate a visa review of athletes who enter the US to compete and mark the wrong sex on their application for potential 'fraud,'" the Post noted.
White House officials said that allowing trans women to compete against biological women is “dangerous” and “unfair.”
One official added, “On his first day in office, Joe Biden signed an executive order calling on schools across the country to allow students to compete in the sport of their ‘gender identity.'"
Biden did do that. Now, hopefully, Trump fixed it.
So how are folks taking this news?
The Left is definitely not happy!
"Justin Trudeau's Ego" on X said that the president just committed "trans genocide."
This "he/him" person was upset.
Rolling back "trans rights." Whatever that means.
Former MTV News reporter John Norris called Trump a "menace."
One seemingly trans-sympathetic leftist appeared to understand the inherent insanity of allowing biological males to play in women's sports and how wildly unpopular it is.
This woman claimed Trump is "targeting" trans people.
The only people being targeted were the women and girl athletes who worked hard to succeed in their sport, only to get mowed down by a man on the field.
Most Americans saw this as the absurdity that it always was. They saw the gross unfairness and injustice of allowing this.
So did Donald Trump. And he's stopping it.
