Tulsi Gabbard for Director of National Intelligence was a controversial pick for many.
She's now confirmed.
Kash Patel for the FBI is also controversial. Hopefully he will be confirmed.
But for many Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. might have been the most controversial of all.
Now he's confirmed.
Fox News reports, "The Senate on Thursday confirmed Robert F. Kennedy Jr. as Health and Human Services (HHS) secretary in President Donald Trump's cabinet."
The story continued, "The final showdown over his controversial nomination was set in motion hours earlier, after another party line vote on Wednesday afternoon which started the clock ticking toward the confirmation roll call."
"Kennedy, the well-known vaccine skeptic and environmental crusader who ran for the White House in 2024 before ending his bid and endorsing Trump, needed a simple majority to be confirmed by the Senate," Fox News noted.
And of course... "Sen. Mitch McConnell of Kentucky was the only Republican to vote against Kennedy's nomination."
McConnell didn't vote for Gabbard either.
But as for actual conservatives...
They were excited that RFK Jr. had finally crossed the finish line in his confirmation.
Don Jr. is PUMPED!
Terence K. Williams could barely contain himself.
Sen. Mike Crapo was pleased.
Sen. Rand Paul congratulated RFK.
Sen. Paul's wife, Kelley, was excited to be in the Oval Office for the swearing in ceremony.
