This week... we saw a lot of Senate confirmation hearings for Trump's cabinet nominees. So far Pete Hegseth has been confirmed as Secretary of Defense, Marco Rubio as Secretary of State, Kristi Noem as Secretary of Homeland Security, John Ratcliffe as CIA Director, Sean Duffy as Secretary of Transportation, Doug Burgum as Interior Secretary, Lee Zelden as EPA Administrator, and Scott Bessent as Treasury Secretary. Most of these votes fell along partisan lines, although Rubio skated through with unanimous consent. These new additions to the administration allow Trump to start enacting his agenda to make America great again!
The Left have attacked Robert F. Kennedy Jr. in his hearings to be Health and Human Services Secretary. Democrat Senators have tried to paint him as a conspiracy theorist for citing medical studies and advocating for transparency in the government and pharmaceutical industry. The online reaction from the Left went something like this...
RFK Jr. had some explosive exchanges, especially with Democrat Senators Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders. He responded to their attacks, in part, by noting that their campaigns receive tons of money from pharmaceutical companies.
Meanwhile, ICE arrests have climbed significantly as the Trump administration focuses on illegal immigrants that are here committing additional crimes. To help in these efforts, Trump has achieved his first major legislative victory by signing the Laken Riley Act into law. This law is named after the young woman who was violently murdered by an illegal immigrant under the Biden administration. It requires detention and deportation for illegal immigrants that commit theft-related crimes, assaulting a police officer, or crimes resulting in death or serious bodily injury like drunk driving as well as adding additional border security provisions. Common sense, right?
While these efforts ramp up, protests by illegal immigrants have cropped up across the country as they resist returning to their homelands. Trump's 'border czar' Tom Homan must be salivating as these criminals line the streets, blatant and out in public advertising their criminality...
A couple weeks ago, we said we wouldn't have to think about Kamala Harris again... but that wasn't entirely true. Kamala was seen shopping recently, holding groceries she helped make radically more expensive, so we thought you might enjoy another look at the bullet America dodged just a few months ago.
