The Democrats have Hitched Their Wagon to a Caravan

Remember the illegal immigrant caravans under Biden when millions of foreigners marched toward our border weekly? Not long ago, it would have been considered an act of war, enough to call the banners and fight against, but the Democrats welcomed them with open arms.

And now? They've gone even further.

Democrats have hitched their wagon to the invaders, burning what little political capital they have left to support them. Violent, wife-beating, terrorist-affiliated illegal immigrants — this is their new rallying cry.

Kilmar Abrego García, who the media dubbed a "Maryland Man," is a reported wife-beater, a member of the terrorist organization MS-13, and is suspected of human trafficking. So naturally, instead of helping secure the border, Democrat Senator Chris Van Hollen flew to El Salvador — not to stop the next García, but to advocate for this one.

Same party. New ink...

Returned to Sender

President Trump didn’t just wave goodbye — he slammed the door shut.

Kilmar Abrego García wasn’t deported by accident. He was deported because under Trump, national security comes before sob stories. The open-border crowd might weep for him, but the rest of us can sleep a little sounder knowing our streets are safer without him.

You know who’s not weeping? El Salvador. Even they don’t want him back in the U.S.

Salvadorian President Bukele threw him in a high-security terrorism prison and made it crystal clear: this guy is not coming back. When a foreign government treats a criminal more seriously than our own Democrats, maybe it’s time to ask who’s actually putting America first.

And yet, Democrat Senator Chris Van Hollen and the rest of the Left are demanding we bring him back — like Trump accidentally returned a lost puppy. No, folks. This wasn’t a clerical error. This was a long-overdue return to sender.

Trump saw the threat. ICE took out the trash. And now Kilmar is El Salvador’s problem again — not ours.

Happy Tax Day!

In other news, this week marked everyone's favorite holiday — Tax Day — the day Americans rush to file paperwork in hopes of getting back a sliver of the money the government’s been holding hostage all year… interest-free, of course.

And what do they do with your hard-earned dollars while they’ve got them? Send checks to illegal immigrants. Fund drag shows in Pakistan. Buy more IRS agents to audit waitresses and Uber drivers. And if you’re lucky, maybe a pothole or two gets filled.

President Trump has floated the idea of eliminating the income tax altogether — and after another Tax Day mess, who wouldn’t be on board?

His goal is simple: simplify the system, shrink the IRS, and stop punishing work.

So, if you're wondering where your tax dollars are going... don't worry, Trump is wondering the same thing. And unlike the swamp, he plans to do something about it.

Happy Easter!

On a more positive note — Happy Easter, America!

For the first time in a long time, it actually feels like our country is celebrating its Christian roots again. This time last year, we had Joe Biden declaring Transgender Day of Visibility on Easter Sunday — a move so tone-deaf, disrespectful, and a direct insult to millions of Americans celebrating the resurrection of Christ.

But this year? No more.

The White House is back to honoring the faith that built this nation — not mocking it to score points with fringe activists.

It’s a breath of fresh air to see the return of tradition. To see Christianity recognized, not erased. Because Easter isn’t about identity politics — it’s about faith, family, and the foundation of our culture.

America was never meant to worship at the altar of the woke Left. It was meant to worship God. And this year, we’re finally heading back in the right direction.

Thanks for reading this week’s Cannon. The fight for America’s future continues — online, in Congress, and in culture.
