Permanent Daylight Savings Time Transcript:
DAVID: Breaking news. Senate bill passes by unanimous consent to make daylight savings time permanent, Kyrsten Sinema seems excited about it, roll that.
RUBIO: "I ask unanimous consent that the Rubio substitute amendment at the desk be considered and agreed to. The bill that was amended be considered, read a third time, and passed, and that the motions to reconsider be considered made and laid upon the table."
SINEMA: "Is there objection? Without objection, so ordered. Y-E-S-S-S."
RUBIO: "Thank you, Madam President. As the day goes on, others will be coming to the floor here in a moment."
DAVID: Arizona doesn't even do that. Doesn't even do daylight savings time, cause they don't bother with it. So, I don't care. I don't know why she's all excited. Why does she care? I guess they can take credit in being the leader... Cool, we might have daylight savings time permanent. That sounds great. I mean, it will be so dark in the morning, though, for the longest time. That'd be interesting to see if winter depressions stats would go down. Watch the House screw this up.
Who would vote against it in the House? I mean, would the Republicans even go along with that? They should.
