Most conservatives understand that the establishment press is biased.
But a new study released last week by the Media Research Center reveals that it might be one of the most biased in election history.
From NewsBusters, "It’s finally over, and the 2024 presidential campaign made history in at least one ignominious respect: Broadcast evening news coverage of the candidates was the most wildly imbalanced in history, favoring Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris over former Republican President Donald Trump by the greatest margin ever recorded."
The story continued:
"The final Media Research Center (MRC) study released last week showed evaluative coverage of Harris — excluding 'horse race' assessments — on ABC, CBS and NBC was 78% positive vs. 22% negative. For Trump, those numbers were flipped: just 15% positive press, vs. 85% negative coverage. Subtracting Trump’s positive press from Harris’s, the advantage to the Democratic nominee was 63 points, the greatest in the modern media age."
A 63 POINT advantage?!? We're not talking about anything within the realm of actual journalism anymore.
This is straight up propaganda. I mean, we all knew this, but to see the analysis and just how bad it is.
The report compared 2024 bias to prior election cycles, "The previous worst display of imbalanced campaign coverage came just four years ago. In 2020, the MRC found former Vice President Joe Biden basked in 66% positive network coverage, vs. just 8% positive coverage for then-President Trump, a 58-point imbalance in favor of the Democrats. (That year’s coverage was also the most negative for any presidential nominee, even worse than what Trump received in 2016 and this year.)"
The study noted how media bias that favors Democrats has been present in many modern election cycles, but nothing quite as bad as Donald Trump vs. Kamala Harris in this election.
Joe Rogan endorsed Donald Trump on the eve of the election. As the most popular podcaster in the world, it was a major endorsement.
Millions listen to Rogan and are now turning away from legacy media precisely because of the kind of bias shown in this study.
And they only have themselves to blame.
Sayings from Kamala:
"The governor and I, we were all doing a tour of the library here and talking about the significance of the passage of time, right, the significance of the passage of time. So, when you think about it, there is great significance to the passage of time in terms of what we need to do to lay these wires. What we need to do to create these jobs. And there is such great significance to the passage of time when we think about a day in the life of our children."
"We will work together, and continue to work together, to address these issues…and to work together as we continue to work, operating from the new norms,…
