NBC News Vaughn Hillyard reported on Wednesday that among the early voters he and his team interviewed in the battleground state of Arizona, they couldn't find one who said they were voting for Kamala Harris.
Hillyard said that Republicans voting early or by mail are Republicans by a two-to-one margin over Democrats.
This is in contrast to Democrats outnumbering Republicans in early voting in 2020.
In talking to voters lined up at the Mohave County polling location, Hillyard said he couldn't find a single voter who was supporting Harris.
This is coming from MSNBC. A news outlet that WANTS to find Kamala Harris voters over Donald Trump voters.
Hillyard said, “We went to a couple early voting locations, and we saw lengthy lines during the lunch hour. Thirty people waiting in line, and we should note, we did not find a single person who audibly would tell us that they voted for Kamala Harris."
These were Trump supporters getting out to vote early in the all-important Mohave County," he added.
One Trump supporter, Jim Coddington said that those supporting the Republican nominee were making a “special effort” to do so.
Trump voter Shelley Schwarz said she voted early for the first time in her life because Trump encouraged it. “He keeps saying it, and I’ve been thinking about it, and so here I am,” Schwarz said.
That MSNBC - the most left-leaning, anti-Trump cable news outlet in existence - can't find a single early voter willing to admit they were supporting Kamala Harris is really something.
In 2016, many who voted for Trump kept that to themselves. His actual votes were better than polls initially showed.
Does Kamala Harris have the same advantage in this election? Or are less people supporting her than polls might show?
That's anyone's guess for now. But we'll all know come November.
