MSNBC Can't 'Make Sense' of Poll Showing More Think Biden is Bigger Threat to Democracy than Trump

There was a bit of a freakout on MSNBC on Wednesday.

A new poll showed that among independent voters, 53 percent think a second Biden term will "weaken America."

As for another Trump term, only 42 percent thought it would harm our democracy.

The poll was conducted by Left-leaning PBS Newshour/NPR/Marist.

The panel was floored.

“I find it shocking, honestly,” MSNBC political analyst Susan Del Percio said. “I can’t make sense of that number. I wish I could. I wish I could have some really great insight to it, but I don’t know if it’s an outlier or not, because the other numbers of independents are going in the right direction. So, that may be it.”

According to Del Percio, it was the media's fault for not airing Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s trial of Trump on television.

She said that it was people’s disinterest in the case that was part of more people thinking Biden is a bigger threat to democracy.

There's still a long way to election day, but hopefully, Trump can garner more positive news like this and really shock MSNBC in November.
