Donald Trump? Seriously?

Despite the fact that the withdrawal took place seven months after Trump left office, the vice president's campaign now says, “Trump left the Biden-Harris Administration with zero plans for an orderly withdrawal — only a dangerous, costly mess.”

She's really trying to point the finger at Trump - who was no longer president - and it happened while she was vice president.

HER administration did this.

You really can't make this up.

"Trump shamelessly attacks the vice president because he hopes he can trick the country into forgetting that his own actions put troops in harm's way," said Harris campaign national security spokesperson Morgan Finkelstein. "Trump wanted to bring the Taliban to Camp David just days before September 11th—think about that. He cut a bad deal with the very same people who violently took over Afghanistan and led to the collapse of the Afghan government."

Yeah, because that's how deals actually work. Part of such deals and that the bad guys don't act bad according to your agreement, which Trump claimed he had those assurances.

Then Biden ignored all that and made the mess he made.

As Trump knew, you have to talk to the bad guys sometimes.

Ask Ronald Reagan.

After lengthy negotiations, Trump finally reached a deal with the Taliban that would allow the wind down of U.S. troops, but that deal was never completed before Trump left the White House in January 2020.

The Biden administration agreed to remove U.S. troops but deviated from the original Trump plan, which many blame for the ensuing chaos and 13 dead American service members after Biden's horrific withdrawal on August 26, 2021.

No one has ever been held accountable for the deadly fiasco. The Gold Star families want accountability.

Biden has said he has no regrets about how it played out.

NOW, Kamala Harris wants to pretend this was Trump's fault?

She used to take credit for the withdrawal. Apparently, her campaign has finally realized that this is a weak spot for them so she's completely changing her tune.

How disrespectful to the service members lost. How low can they go?

If this is the best they have on the Afghanistan withdrawal front, her campaign really is flailing.

Donald Trump was trying to do something very difficult and had a deal that might have worked. Joe Biden and Kamala Harris selfishly wanted to do it their own way - instead of the best way.

And we all saw how that turned out.

She's not fit to be president or vice president. She never was.
