Kamala Harris' Anti-Fracking, Green Agenda Could Really Damage Our Economy

Now that she's running for president, Kamala Harris says she's not against fracking.

But that's not what she's said in the past. This is a flip-flop for the Democrat.

Because she's worried about winning Pennsylvania. Among other things.

In an op-ed for the New York Post, Joseph Pitts explains the harm her green energy ideas could cause both Pennsylvania and the country.

"Running for president in 2019, Harris declared, 'There’s no question I’m in favor of banning fracking.'” Pitts wrote.

He continued, "Fracking, or hydraulic fracturing, is a proven drilling technology used for extracting oil, natural gas, geothermal energy, or water from deep underground. It is a cornerstone of Pennsylvania’s economy, especially in the Marcellus Shale region, supporting approximately 123,000 jobs, providing livelihoods for families across the state."

"President Biden’s pause on liquified-natural-gas exports this year sent ripples of concern through Pennsylvania’s natural-gas sector," Pitts noted. "The White House announcement went out of its way to say this was a Biden-Harris administration decision, not Biden’s alone."

Pitts added, "The move not only jeopardized jobs but undermined the economic stability of communities dependent on natural gas in my state and across the country."

Voters should know that no matter what she says over the next three months, Harris is beholden to the leftwing of her party, and those people are deeply against fracking.

If it costs so many jobs, so be it. They really don't care.

The green-energy agenda is a big part of what animates today's Democratic party, so it would be almost impossible to imagine a President Harris not doing some real damage to not only states like Pennsylvania but all Americans everywhere in a myriad of ways.

Or as Pitts put it, "This independence is crucial for national security and economic stability, both of which are undermined by Biden-Harris policies that target natural-gas production and exportation."

"Imagine how much worse it would get under a President Harris," he added.

Yes. Imagine. Because it's yet another reason to motivate voters not to let Kamala Harris get anywhere near the White House in 2025.
