Kamala Harris has vowed to codify Roe v. Wade into federal law if she becomes president, making it legal to have an abortion virtually at any time, in any state, throughout a woman's pregnancy.
She also now claims she would not make any concessions to Republicans on the abortion legislation she would push.
Including religious exemptions - meaning forcing Christians to kill unborn children.
NBC News' Hallie Jackson asked Harris what "specific concessions" she would make to Republicans in trying to pass such her abortion legislation.
Harris scoffed at the very idea of making any concessions.
"What concessions would be on the table? Religious exemptions, for example – is that something that you would consider?" Jackson asked.
Harris replied, "I don't think we should be making concessions when we're talking about a fundamental freedom to make decisions about your own body."
Jackson asked, "Would you offer them an olive branch? Or is that off the table?"
"I'm not going to engage in hypotheticals because we can go on with a variety of scenarios," Harris said. "Let's start with the fundamental fact. A basic freedom has been taken from the women of America, the freedom to make decisions about their own body. And that cannot be negotiable, which is that we need to put back in the protections of Roe v Wade, and that is it."
"But what if you can't do that?" Jackson followed up. "What if you can't get that passed, and you want to save lives in Florida and in Texas and in Georgia? What do you do at that point?"
"I'm not going to go down that rabbit hole with you right now," Harris responded.
Jackson - and remember this is NBC News were talking about, an outlet totally friendly to Democrats - tried to inject some political reality into the exchange, saying that "it's a question that's out there, because it's not a guarantee that Democrats will win control of Congress."
Harris responded, "Well, I'm doing everything I can to make sure that we do."
Wow. Zero protections for the unborn. No quarter. No compromise. For any reason.
That's what Democrats want.
Christians, when Kamala Harris and her party tell you that what you believe about the sanctity of life is wrong - and they aim to do something about it - believe them.
