JD Vance: We Will Not ‘Ask Permission from Far-Left Democrats’ to Deport Criminals

Since entering his second term, President Donald Trump has put an emphasis on arresting violent illegal aliens and deporting them from the United States.

For some, this has been controversial. For the far-left, it has been very controversial.

But too bad, says Vice President JD Vance. This president doesn't need their permission.

Vance said in an interview with Fox News' Lawrence Jones on Thursday, "Back in 2019, an immigration judge looked at all the evidence, looked at all the data and concluded that this allegedly innocent person that we sent to El Salvador was actually a member of an MS-13 gang. He had also committed some traffic violations, he had not shown up for some court dates. This is not exactly father of the year here, this is a person that we don’t think should be in our country."

The Trump administration has invoked the Alien Enemies Act to deport members of the criminal gang Tren de Agua. This act has also been used to remove Abrego Garcia, who Vance is referring to, a Salvadoran national who is alleged to be an MS-13 member.

“Here’s the most important point, though, Lawrence [Jones] is whatever the argument is, whatever the justification is, no one doubts that no even the crazy, left-wing media criticizes the idea that we can deport this person,” Vance said.

The vice president continued, “They just took issue with the reasoning for why we deported this person. This was unquestionably an illegal alien, this was unquestionably a person who broke the laws to get into our country, this is unquestionably a person who an immigration judge had found had zero right to be in the United States of America."

Vance added, "We do not ask permission from far-left Democrats before we deport illegal immigrants. We do the American people’s business.”

Vance said out loud what many need to hear, apparently.

The New York Post reported on Tuesday, "The Trump administration has deported more than 100,000 migrants since President Trump returned to the White House in January, The Post has learned."

The story continued, "Both ICE and CBP officials have made 113,000 arrests and carried out 'north of' 100,000 deportations since Trump’s Jan. 20 inauguration, a Department of Homeland Security official told The Post Monday."

"Sources said it shows that Trump is keeping his promise to boot illegal migrants, alleged gangbangers and suspected terrorists from the United States," the story noted.

Promises made. Promises kept.

THIS is exactly what Americans voted for.
