As conservatives, being pro-life often means more than just opposing abortion. We promote a culture of life of which families and family life are at the center.

Our new Vice President JD Vance took an opportunity to point this out during his speech at the March for Life in Washington, DC on Friday.

Particularly about wanting people to have more children in his country.

"I want to have more babies in the United States of America!" he declared.

After President Donald Trump appeared at the march in a video recorded in the Oval Office, in which he thanked the marchers for “turning out to show your extraordinary love and compassion for the unborn” and touted the overturning of Roe v. Wade, his vice president spoke.

Vance said that American “society has failed to recognize the obligation that one generation has to another is a core part of living in a society, to begin with.”

“So let me say very simply: I want more babies in the United States of America,” Vance said.

The audience roared.

“I want more happy children in our country," Vance added. "And I want beautiful young men and women who are eager to welcome them into the world and eager to raise them.”

Conservatives everywhere cheered Vance's refreshing pro-life remarks.

Many noted the importance of families.

Vance went all in on emphasizing the immeasurable importance of standing up the Left to protect the unborn.

Vance continued, “We march to protect the unborn. We march to proclaim and live out the sacred truth that every single child is a miracle and a gift from God."

He explained, "Radical individualism took root, where the responsibilities and joys of family life were seen as obstacles to overcome."

Conservatives cheered that too.

“We need a culture that celebrates life at all stages, one that recognizes and truly believes that the benchmark of national success is not our GDP (Gross Domestic Product) number or our stock market but whether people feel that they can raise thriving and healthy families in our country,” he said.

Vance also said that Trump was “the most pro-family, pro-life president of our lifetime.”

The marchers were overwhelmingly happy about the vice president's pro-life pronouncements, and it felt good to hear leaders talk about our humanity, particularly the youngest among us, instead of the dark and dreary culture of death promoted by the Left.

JD Vance wants more babies in America. We should all want that.
