ForAmerica Endorses Rep. Jim Banks for U.S. Senate

Today, ForAmerica announced its endorsement of Jim Banks to be elected to represent Indiana in the U.S. Senate. ForAmerica will engage its audience to act, because when ForAmerica engages, America wins.

ForAmerica President David Bozell said:

ForAmerica is proud to endorse Jim Banks in his bid for the U.S. Senate. Jim is a proven leader who will fight for life, liberty, and put America first.

Banks was elected to the House in 2016 running on an unapologetic conservative platform, and quickly proved himself to be one of the best Republican leaders in Washington. A consistent champion of limited government and personal liberty, Banks has served as an example in his party.

Banks has served as a member of the House Committee on Armed Services, the House Committee on Veterans' Affairs, the House Committee on Education and Labor, and chaired the Republican Study Committee.

Before his time in Congress, Banks served in the Indiana State Senate from 2010 to 2016, where he led the charge on many significant pro-growth, pro-family, and pro-veteran reforms. He currently serves in the U.S. Navy Reserve as a Supply Corps Officer.

Bozell continued:

Jim is a leader who will not back down against the Democrats or those who work against the conservative agenda in his own party. That is exactly the kind of leadership we’re going to need no matter who is president and which party controls Congress.

Banks lives in northeast Indiana with his wife, Amanda, and their three daughters, Lillian, Elizabeth, and Joann.
