ForAmerica congratulates Tim Sheehy on being elected to the U.S. Senate to represent Montana.
ForAmerica previously endorsed Sheehy.
ForAmerica President David Bozell said:
As a businessman, Tim understands that Washington can't keep spending without consequences. As a former Navy Seal who cares about national security, Tim knows our broken southern border is our top concern. Now, as a U.S. Senator, you will always be able to count on Tim to do what's best for Montana and America.
A veteran and successful businessman, Sheehy was inspired to run after Joe Biden's botched Afghanistan withdrawal that cost the lives of 13 U.S. service members. Now that he's won, Sheehy still sees himself being an outsider to the world of politics as a plus, not a negative.
He stated:
We need political outsiders to deliver the commonsense solutions Montanans want, and our country needs, but career politicians back in D.C. haven’t delivered. Under President Trump’s leadership, our economy was booming, our border was secure, and America was respected on the world stage.
Sheehy was endorsed by Donald Trump.
Sheehy continued:
From our nation’s out-of-control debt, the crisis at our southern border, the broken VA, and the botched Afghanistan withdrawal, the career politicians and bureaucrats in D.C. are not being held accountable. It's time to remind Washington what it means to have service, sacrifice, and accountability at the center of your mission.
A decorated veteran, Sheehy has a Purple Heart and a Bronze Star from his military duty in the Middle East.
ForAmerica looks forward to having U.S. Senator-Elect Tim Sheehy serve Montana and his country in this new capacity.
