Remember right before the 2020 presidential election when it was reported that a laptop belonging to Hunter Biden had emails that revealed questionable overseas business dealings?
And Democrats and the entire establishment media told us it was just 'Russian Disinformation?'
Then... after the election... The New York Times, The Washington Post and just about everyone else confirmed it was legit.
Now, in Hunter Biden's federal firearms trial, an FBI agent involved in the case has yet again confirmed the authenticity of the laptop.
Agent Erika Jensen said on the stand Tuesday, “This is the laptop that was recovered from the computer store.”
Jensen was talking about the laptop that in 2019, Hunter Biden had left at The Mac Shop in Wilmington, Delaware. That computer was eventually shared with Rudy Giuliani's attorney, Robert Costello.
The FBI agent said she could confirm the laptop's authenticity by matching the serial number on it with the number Apple Inc. provided after the company was subpoenaed for records.
Remember how establishment media figures would chastise anyone who would dare say the laptop might be legitimate?
That's exactly what 60 Minutes Lesley Stahl did to Donald Trump four years ago.
The Washington Times reports, "Prosecutors highlighted text messages stored on the laptop in which Hunter Biden wrote about being addicted to drugs or trying to purchase drugs. He is accused of lying on a gun application by saying he was not a drug addict when he purchased a revolver in October 2018, and his defense lawyers have suggested he might have been in denial about his addiction."
Hunter Biden and those looking to protect his father, President Joe Biden, have long said the laptop did not belong to the younger Biden. When the news broke in 2020, 50 former intelligence officials signed a document that insisted that the story “has all the classic earmarks of a Russian information operation.”
How did they know that? Or was it just wishful thinking to protect their guy?
Because they were all wrong.
This FBI agent's confirmation of the laptop's authenticity is but the latest reminder of just how much the Biden family is willing to lie to hold on to power.
