On Tuesday, the staff of the Department of Education received a notice that they would need to vacate the building by 6 PM local time and also that all offices would be closed on Wednesday.
President Donald Trump has vowed to abolish this department.
Could this be the beginning of the process?

They were told it would be closed for "security reasons."
From CBS News, "Staff with approved telework agreements were told they can work from home Wednesday. The email instructed employees to bring their laptops home with them when leaving the office Tuesday."
The report noted, "The president is expected to issue an executive order directing Education Secretary Linda McMahon to begin the process of dissolving the department."
"The timing of the move, however, remains unclear," it noted.
After Linda McMahon was sworn in as the new head of Department of Education earlier this month, she sent a letter to staff.
The subject line of the letter?: "Our Department's Final Mission."
"The reality of our education system is stark, and the American people have elected President Trump to make significant changes in Washington," McMahon wrote. "Our job is to respect the will of the American people and the President they elected, who has tasked us with accomplishing the elimination of bureaucratic bloat here at the Department of Education — a momentous final mission — quickly and responsibly."
Conservatives couldn't help but wonder if Wednesday's closing was the beginning of the end for the department.

Titillated.

We don't actually know if this is part of a permanent shutdown process, but for some it can't come soon enough.

A DOGE audit?

IT'S HAPPENING! (hopefully).

Regardless, there is definitely something unusual going on here.

Hopefully, we will know more come Thursday.
And hopefully, it will be the best news imaginable - something conservatives have dreamed of for nearly a half century.
