When CNN decided to move its prime time host and Donald Trump hater Jim Acosta to a late night slot due to poor ratings, the host decided to just quit.
On Tuesday, he did.
And he went out in his usual and tired MAGA-bashing way (these people never learn).
He said in his final CNN broadcast, "You may have heard some reports about me and this show, and after giving all of this some careful consideration and weighing in alternative time slots CNN offered me, I have decided to move on."
He talked about his trip to Cuba when President Barack Obama visited in 2016, comparing that country's dictator Raul Castro to Trump, saying, "It is never a good time to bow down to a tyrant."
Sure, Jim.
Acosta ended with this bit of sniveling, "One final message: Don't give in to the lies."
"Lies?" You mean, don't watch CNN? No problem!
"Don't give in to the fear. Hold on to the truth, and to hope," he added. "Even if you have to get out your phone, record that message: 'I will not give in to the lies, I will not give in to the fear.' Post it on your social media so people can hear from you too."
Good lord.
Needless to say, conservatives jumped all over this Democratic establishment hack posing as a journalist.
With President Trump at the top of that list.
The Great One weighed in as well.
Many conservatives gave this hack a proper sendoff.
Deceitful is right.

Some were reminiscent.
What a narcissist.
Acosta is the perfect symbol of a dying legacy media because they are so pompous and arrogant as they lie to viewers, which has led to no one trusting them any longer.
He can talk about "tyrants" and attack Trump and make all the other excuses he and those in broadcast news typically come up with to explain their increasing unpopularity.
You reap what you sow. The truth is, Jim Acosta, is that you did this to yourself.
