The confirmation hearing for Robert F. Kennedy Jr. for head of Health and Human Services took place Wednesday, where President Donald Trump's pick had some intense exchanges with a number of Democratic senators.
The chamber was filled with RFK Jr. supporters, and throngs of his supporters also waited outside.
RFK Jr. said, among other things, "The first thing I've done every morning for the past 20 years - is get on my knees and pray to God that He would put me in a position to end the chronic disease epidemic and to help America's children."
When Sen. Elizabeth "Pocahontas" Warren was trying to smear Kennedy, she seemed to ask if he would promise not to sue pharmaceutical companies.
What?!?
Bobby put her in her place.
Apparently Warren had good reason to be sticking up for these companies.
RFK Jr. looked so much better and statesmanlike than the Dems screaming at him.
Sorry, Bernie Sanders, healthcare is not a "human right."
Taxpayers aren't on the hook to pay for everyone else's healthcare.
The vice president noted that his boss picked both Kennedy and Tulsi Gabbard for a reason.
Sen. Tina Smith was put in her place.
RFK Jr. left his hearing on Wednesday to a standing ovation.
RFK Jr. is a popular choice and many believe his presence helped Trump with the election, especially with Independent voters or Democrats who just couldn't stomach Kamala Harris.
Expect RFK Jr. to be confirmed.
Expect Democrats to catch hell if they dare defy President Donald Trump - and the American people - over this cabinet pick.
