CNN's Scott Jennings Says Americans Are Ready for Trump, 'Sick' of Weak Leadership

These days, Scott Jennings is generally the only sane voice on CNN.

On Sunday, the conservative commentator told his panel that everyone was "sick" of the weak leadership shown by Joe Biden and the Democrats.

Americans have had enough.

Democrat panelist and former Hillary Clinton campaign senior adviser Karen Finney said that she believes Americans will grow “sick” of his choice to place “unelected corporate billionaires” in positions of power.

Jennings wasn't having it.

“I’ll tell you what I think Americans are sick of — Joe Biden," Jennings said. "Uncommon nonsense that comes out of the Democratic Party. They’re sick of feeling like this country has been running in place, stuck in quicksand for the last four years. Three quarters of Americans think we’re on the wrong track,” Jennings said.

“But there are hints of optimism in the American people,” Jennings added. “There was a CBS News survey that came out last weekend. More Americans thought that Donald Trump would increase peace and stability in the world than that he would not.”

According to a December 22 CBS News poll, 57 percent of Americans said they felt hopeful about 2025.

This was a ten point increase to the same time last year. Then, only 47 percent of Americans expressed hope for the new year.

In the same survey, 60 percent of participants said their optimism was based on Trump becoming president again.

Jennings said that there appears to be “shoots of optimism" among the public due to Trump being re-elected.

“So you can start to feel the green shoots of optimism,” Jennings said. “So when I look ahead to what he’s going to do at the inaugural and what he could do in the first 100 days of his administration, I hope he senses that from the American people, hits the ground running, and strikes the optimistic notes.”

He then zeroed in on Biden's weakness as president.

“Because I think people are tired of having weak leadership that has taken us off in the wrong direction. He has a real opportunity here to do something amazing, and I hope he does it,” Jennings said.

Scott Jennings is right. Americans have rightly soured on Biden/Harris, their party, and what they've done to the country.

Will Trump turn the ship around? Time will tell.

But with Donald Trump winning, there is hope.
