CNN's Scott Jennings Calls Kamala Bringing Tim Walz to Her First Interview 'Weak Sauce'

Kamala Harris has finally agreed to her first interview...

With one of the most Democrat-friendly cable channels, CNN, and with an interviewer known for being kind to Democrats, Dana Bash.

And the Democratic presidential candidate is also bringing her vice presidential candidate with her.

That's right: In her very first interview since being nominated, Harris is bringing Tim Walz with her.

This was just too much for Republican CNN commentator Scott Jennings.

"I think it’s incredibly weak, weak sauce to show up with your running mate,” Jennings said.

Jennings also said an interview with this weak a setup would be unlikely to change minds.

It also gives more fuel to Republicans to go after her.

“I think the hand-wringing and the gyrations over this over the last month show a troubling lack of confidence in her political ability, which also makes you wonder as a voter, what kind of president would you be if this kind of a small-time decision, can we do an interview or not, what does that look like for your decision-making process, and so on?” Jennings said.

“So, yes, I think Republicans are gonna think it’s pretty weak to show up with effectively someone to take up half the time," he added.

Jennings has a point. Donald Trump and his running mate, JD Vance, are doing many interviews all the time in uncontrolled settings.

Kamala Harris has waited five weeks to do just ONE interview and can't even do it by herself.

CAN she even do it by herself and with competence? So far, it doesn't look like her campaign handlers think so.

Believe it or not, there are plenty of voters on the fence in this election.

Will this make Harris look stronger in their eyes? Or perhaps weaker?

Because this decision really is weak sauce. Incredibly weak.

That's not hyperbole. That's just a fact.

The prerecorded interview (which is also weak) airs Thursday night at 9 PM ET on CNN.
