Byron Donalds: There Are Republicans Working to Rein In Anti-Trump Judges

Whether its deporting violent, criminal illegal aliens or just trying to do something about the U.S.' broken borders in general, some federal judges seem to want to stop President Trump at every turn.

According to Republican Congressman Byron Donalds, some Republicans on the House Oversight and Accountability Committee are trying to find ways to rein them in.

Rep. Donalds told Newsmax in an interview on Tuesday, "There are members right now who are considering everything from being able to sanction, maybe censure some judges."

"Some are even talking as much as going through the procedure of the impeachment of federal judges," he added.

Donalds serves on the House Oversight and Accountability Committee.

The Congressman says rogue judges must be dealt with - and that it's long overdue.

“What we have is we have a wing of the federal bench that is rogue," Donalds explained. "It's been that way for decades now in the United States, where it does not matter what the law says, it doesn't matter what the Constitution says, it doesn't even matter what a president might say."

Donalds says some of these judges are acting on their own accord, outside of the law and legal precedent.

"They have their own agenda, and they have not been elected," he insisted. "They do not represent the will of the American people when it comes to immigration,” Donalds continued.

This week a federal judge ordered a plane full of Venezuelan gang members being deported from the U.S. to be turned around and sent back to America. Trump's legal team lawyers said that since the flights were over international waters, the judge's order did not apply.

Donalds says this will not stand.

“People are going to be sent home, period. They cannot stay in the United States.” he said.

Donalds added that that Trump’s order to deport these criminals was a “crystal clear, open and shut case.”

Donald Trump ran on deporting illegal aliens - particularly the criminally violent - and that's exactly what he's doing.

As the Executive, he is well within his rights to do so. As a matter of national security, it is actually the president's duty to do so.

A single judge in a single city should not be able to stop him from doing it.
