86% of Renters Say They Can't Afford a Home Today.

Some of Donald Trump's appeal is that when he was president Americans didn't suffer from the inflation and worsening economy that we have today.

A big part of that is home ownership. Owning your own home was the American Dream.

But it's a dream that feels out of reach for many right now who are renting properties.

Fox Business reports, "A majority of current renters in the U.S. say they can't afford to buy a home, with over half of Americans saying that they are pessimistic about ever achieving their goal of homeownership, per a new CNN poll."

"CNN's study found that 86% of current renters in the United States can't afford to buy a home as one hallmark of the American dream drifts increasingly out of reach for thousands of families," the report noted.

39-year-old father Brent Bjornsen said, "Buying a home is absolutely something we would love to do. It seems out of reach. We’re straddled with seemingly insurmountable debt."

"Home ownership seems impossible," he added, "and that hurts for two kids of Baby Boomers and feels like a disappointment."

Home prices were high during the 2016-2020 Trump administration as well, but have shot up astronomically under Biden-Harris.

The report notes, "Even starter homes, which are traditionally smaller, more affordable options for young families and other first-home buyers, are becoming increasingly expensive."

But also (emphasis added), "These days, the typical starter home is worth at least $1 million in 237 cities, the most ever, according to new findings published by Zillow. Five years ago, just 84 cities met that criteria."

That's a HUGE difference in home affordability between the Trump and Biden-Harris eras.

As the Democrat-establishment media machine continues to mythologize Kamala Harris as some wonderful leader who has improved the country, Americans can still read price tags.

Including the cost of owning a home.

Maybe Donald Trump could offer something better economically. Because after nearly four years, we already know Kamala Harris and her boss don't.

The economy is worse off under them than it has been since the 2009 recession. And that's saying something.

Enough. Biden-Harris have failed across the board, but especially on the economy.

Time to ditch the Democrats and bring back the American Dream.
