Lisa Page Admitted Obama DOJ Ordered Stand-down On Clinton Email Prosecution

Former FBI Lawyer Lisa Page and fired FBI Special Agent Peter Strzok exchanged anti-Trump text messages during their time at the bureau. (AP, File)

Under closed-door testimony last year, Page admitted that Obama’s DOJ ordered the FBI not to pursue charges against Hillary Clinton for “gross negligence” of handling classified information. It’s a bombshell release, but it also begs the question: Why did Republicans on the House Judiciary CMTE decide to wait until last night to release hundreds of pages of testimony from LAST YEAR? What were they waiting for? And what’s with closed-door testimony anyway? Do away it with it entirely. We the taxpayers are paying for this stuff. The stakes are too high, and if Schiff is any indication, anything and everything gets leaked anyway. Get this whole ordeal out into the open, where it belongs.
