Welcome to ForAmerica!

What started out as an experiment in late 2010 has transformed into a movement. Before ForAmerica was created, there was not a robust social media presence championing American exceptionalism. ForAmerica has filled that void.

Through our social media platforms, ForAmerica has taken the battle of ideas to social media—a place that, until now, has been dominated by the Left. Here, ForAmerica activates millions grassroots Americans from all corners of the country to engage their social network, mobilize for and against legislation, and put concentrated pressure on weak establishment Republicans.

All endeavors are measured by the following: If it advances freedom, prosperity and virtue, ForAmerica will be supportive. If it doesn’t, ForAmerica will be formally, publicly opposed.

The one element unique to the ForAmerica concept is the technological expertise to wed politics to marketing in the new social media universe.

By virtually any statistical measure, the ForAmerica community is the largest voice on the right, led by the millions of people who engage on our platforms.

Why Social Media?

We believe we can successfully create a national revolution in the one universe that presents us with the greatest opportunities: social media.

   

 

Social media is where the revolution is being fought.


The radical Left is massively funded and has managed to capture complete institutions on the American scene—academia, entertainment, the unions, the news media, and the like.

The Republican Party is massively bankrolled by big business, has a Democratic-lite issue agenda that rejects conservative principles while giving conservatives lip service, and ultimately delivers a political presentation that, time and again falls on deaf electoral ears because it sells no one.

We believe that America can be exceptional again if we can successfully create a national revolution in the one universe that presents us with the greatest opportunities: social media. If we are rise to the challenge, and begin the work of capturing the political narrative, conservatives must be creative, better organized, more persuasive, and better funded.

 


 

Why Is Social Media The Best Weapon?

Social networking, described by one website as “the lovechild” of the Internet, is the most popular online activity in the world, making platforms like Facebook and Twitter the front line of thought leadership. It is expected that more than 2.5 billion worldwide will have a social network account by 2018. As of 2015, over 70% of the United States population has a social networking account.

There are literally hundreds of millions people on these platforms we can be and should be persuading.

Social media is a massive conveyor belt of information and shows no signs of slowing down. It allows ForAmerica to communicate with millions of people instantly without any filter or bias to contend with.

 

The Show is Over for TV

The popularity of these platforms continue to rise, with no end in sight. Just a few years ago, a national study showed that for the first time, people are on their smartphones more than they watch television.

An incredible amount of statistics regarding social media news and information consumption can be found courtesy of Pew Research Center. Its latest findings show that over 60% of Facebook and Twitter users cite these platforms as a news source.

Do you want to reach young people? 96% of 18-35 year olds are on a social network.

You may have heard that this election is the “Year of the Woman.” They say that every year. Nevertheless, if you want to reach women, Marketing 101 says go to where they are. And nine of every ten self-identified “soccer moms,” arguably the country’s most important voting demographic, use Facebook every single day.

And the age gaps no longer exists. Facebook users are not just kids in their parents’ basements. The fastest growing age segment of Facebook usage is 55 plus, which means real voters are turning off their television sets and engaging on these platforms.

 

Peer-to-Peer Endorsement is End Game.

The Digital Director of Obama’s Presidential campaign, Teddy Goff, said it best:

“People don’t trust campaigns. They don’t even trust media organizations. Who do they trust? Their friends.”

With all due respect to our heroes in conservative talk radio, social media is the only communication vehicle in the world that provides the critical peer-to-peer endorsement that politicians, campaigns, and every corporate brand craves. That’s why Obama poured over $100 million into his digital operations, and why his digital department was the biggest of his campaign.

Goff understood that the key to victory was turning consumers of Obama into advocates for Obama. (Incidentally, Donald Trump understands this lesson as well, but none of Trump’s competition in the GOP field did).

There are dozens of studies proving that peer recommendations increase a message’s believability, but by and large, less than 20% of consumers trust brand advertisements, while over 60% of consumers would trust the very same advertisement if it came from a friend.

The 2016 presidential election cycle is, without a doubt, the most popular news story in America. Highlighted Activism Results

Crashing Obama's Townhall

Welcome to ForAmerica! We are the largest-of-its-kind, award-winning, national grassroots organization championing American exceptionalism.

One of our earliest successes happened back in April of 2011 when ForAmerica and our army single-handedly shut down on online townhall meeting staring President Obama and Facebook Founder Mark Zuckerberg. Obama and Zuckerberg were slated to do the first-of-its-kind online townhall meeting in Silicon Valley. The pair were to take the stage together, with lap-tops in front of them, answering questions from Facebook users.

It was an open-invitation to attend the event, and I believe the topic was deficit reduction. Around 9am est, we alerted the army to go to the online meeting and suggested a message:

It’s not a tough choice, Mr. President. You have added $3.5 TRILLION to the national debt already, the first thing we should do is repeal ObamaCare.

At the time, ForAmerica only had about 1 million fans. We were confident the army would respond, but the impact took even us by surprise. No one had ever tried crashing an online townhall meeting, especially one involving the President of the United States.

About 20 minutes after we sent out our alert to the army, nearly nine out of every ten comments on the townhall meeting page were the same:

Twenty minutes later, the ForAmerica army was engaged in a sort of cyber warfare, if you will, as the President’s online response team sprung into action. The comments from Obama’s people against our fans were brutal – you can imagine the attacks – but our folks would not be denied.

Around noon, the event page was officially shut down. We don’t know who made the call, but we assume it was the White House, who didn’t want to show that an online army had beaten them at their own game.

We knew we had caused the page to go down. Matt Lewis from the Daily Caller was gracious enough to report the story for us in real-time. We took Matt’s story and blasted it out to our army because we wanted to thank them for what they had accomplished. We drove “Drudge-like” numbers to Matt’s story that day as our army shared what they had done with their own networks.

The White House brought the event live again that afternoon, but with one singular difference: no comments were allowed. So…not much of a townhall if you can’t comment, right?

Nearly a month later, we knew ForAmerica had been discovered as the White House hired I think its 38th Czar at the time, the White House Director of Online Response.

Shutting down the townhall meeting between Obama and Zuckerberg proved to us that this army was ready, willing and able to advocate for conservatism. We knew we were onto something big.

Fighting ObamaCare

Welcome to ForAmerica! We are the largest-of-its-kind, award-winning, national grassroots organization championing American exceptionalism.



Among our earliest achievements was helping to end the Obama’s administration sleazy ObamaCare waiver program. This despicable program granted special ObamaCare exemptions to the administration’s friends and corporate supporters.

ForAmerica put on a digital ad blitz that resulted in 110,000 email petitions sent to Congress and other policy makers in Washington demanding the program be shut down.

Next we found a link on the HHS Department website where an individual could submit their own ObamaCare waiver application. Over 10,000 ForAmerica fans sent then-HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius emails demanding their own waiver. Shortly thereafter, the program was shutdown, thanks to the activism displayed by the ForAmerica community. 

The ForAmerica army was also actively involved in trying to force Congress to live up to its promises to Defund ObamaCare in late 2013. We partnered with a number of organizations and Members of Congress in leading the charge.

When we posted our messages on Facebook and Twitter, over 61,000 phone calls were put into 21 different Members of Congress, including Eric Cantor, who received over 1,000 calls in less than an hour. Member delegations included:

How do we know these activist calls got Congress’s attention? As calls poured into their offices, members soon figured out that the tsunami was coming from social media and they rushed to their own accounts to shamelessly pretend they were doing all they could to stop ObamaCare.

Geo-targeted ads at major sporting events like the Super Bowl or the Final Four are extraordinarily successful in keeping ObamaCare in the national spotlight.

 

Videos and creative messaging are reliable tools in our shed as we continue driving national opinion against this insidious law.

Action on Immigration

Welcome to ForAmerica! We are the largest-of-its-kind, award-winning, national grassroots organization championing American exceptionalism.



Time and again, ForAmerica’s Army is demonstrating the ability to hold Congressional leadership accountable. Our calls to action are creating fast and measurable results on Capitol Hill. One of the most important issues the ForAmerica Army has engaged in successfully has been illegal immigration.

In early February 2014, then Speaker John Boehner declared that “immigration reform” would be his top priority.

The Senate version – the infamous “Gang-of-Eight” bill was so overwhelmingly opposed by the American people that Boehner knew he had to turn to House Democrats for help. ForAmerica was first tipped off that Boehner was entertaining a secret deal with President Obama. Action was needed and the results were swift.

On February 5th, ForAmerica asked our army to call Boehner’s office and demand that he not entertain a secret deal on amnesty with President Obama. Our army responded in droves with over 6,000 phones calls to Boehner’s office in one day.

Two days later, Boehner stepped to the microphone for his weekly press conference and declared that Immigration reform was “dead.” What was his top priority not two days prior was now a dead issue. The ForAmerica grassroots army responded with overwhelming force and Boehner was forced to retreat.

The halls of Congress were certainly not the only place where our ForAmerica army was heard pertaining to illegal immigration. ForAmerica was also fearless in engaging President Obama at the White House.

When President Obama decided to go it alone and issue his unlawfull “Executive Amnesty,” an order that is still held up by the courts, the ForAmerica army sprung into action. We asked the army to call the White House and demand that Obama stand down. Thousands of phone calls poured into the White House switchboard; so many in fact, that the White House complained to us, saying in an email to our phone vendor:

“….These calls are flooding the White House switchboard, and have become a security issue since it prevents legitimate calls from coming in….”

It was no surprise to us that this President considers thousands of calls from the America people illegitimate. Nevertheless, we will continue to be unafraid in taking on this White House or any White House administration when fighting against illegal immigration.

Vendor calls and says, “calls are flooding the White House switchboard” and shut down the program after complaints from White House staff who expressed “security concerns” over the call volume.

 

Dump the GOP Leadership

Welcome to ForAmerica! We are the largest-of-its-kind, award-winning, national grassroots organization championing American exceptionalism.

Time and again, year after year, the Republican leadership in the House and the Senate has come to grassroots conservatives, and Tea Party supporters, pleading for our money, our volunteers, our time, our energy and our votes.

In return they have repeatedly promised not just to stop the liberal assault on our freedoms and our national treasury, but to advance our conservative agenda. It’s been years. There is not a single conservative accomplishment this “leadership” can point to.

Since our inception in 2010, ForAmerica has taken a leading role in holding the GOP leadership accountable for their promises to the voters. We continue to maintain that conservatism will not be advanced until new leadership is installed willing to fight. With the support of millions of grassroots patriots, we will continue holding the GOP accountable and will push for new leadership until a conservative agenda is advanced.

Creative messaging on social media is essential to driving the national discussion that new congressional leadership is needed.

In 2015 alone, ForAmerica’s persuasive images and messaging about the GOP’s lack of leadership was shared with over 65 million people online.

Our army has bombarded leadership offices on Capitol Hill for years.

A simple post on Facebook to our 8 million fans there can yield thousands of calls in a matter of  hours.

We’ve hit Boehner on his proposed tax increases, his failures on  ObamaCare, his general lack of spine, and immigration, when over 6,000 calls were put into his office in less than a day. 

We’ve shut down every one of Mitch McConnell’s eight Kentucky offices at the same time.

When Eric Cantor was trying to pour more taxpayer money into ObamaCare, we poured 1,000 phone calls into his office, in less than an hour.

 

Congressional Republicans must reclaim their constitutionally-mandated authority over law-making, rule-making and regulatory processes in this country, but it will be up to their voters to force them to do it. GOP Leadership has proven they would rather punt, or worse, cave to the Left completely.

Boehner and Cantor suffered the consequences of their inaction. They ignored the ground quaking underneath them. That earthquake was the ForAmerica community.

We’re not an operation that’s looking for petition signers from which to fundraise. We’re recruiting our social media audience so when action is needed quickly, the army can respond quickly.

ForAmerica will continue to push for stronger GOP leadership until freedom, prosperity and virtue are advanced.

 

 

Fighting the IRS

Protecting Freedom of Speech

Welcome to ForAmerica! We are the largest-of-its-kind, award-winning, national grassroots organization championing American exceptionalism.

In 2013, the IRS was discovered to be targeting conservatives and conservative organizations, in an attempt to silence anyone who disagreed with President Obama’s administration. Emboldened by the lack of fight displayed by Congressional Republicans, the IRS tried to go one step further by shredding the 1st Amendment with new rules and regulations. ForAmerica knew it had to fight back. This fight was more than protecting an organization’s tax status, it was about protecting an individual’s right to free speech and free assembly.

A comment period on a White House web page was created, and ForAmerica took advantage of the opportunity. We asked our fans to go the site and make their voice heard.

 

Over 110,000 ForAmerica fans went to the WH page and voiced their displeasure with the proposed rules! At the time, it was the most-commented page on any White House web page ever.

We also engaged in a full-blown earned media assault of our own against the White House’s plan.

The incidents with CNN and PARENTS Magazine

Poor Carol Costello. She had no idea what hit her. Ms. Costello is a CNN anchor whose show usually airs at 9 am est. Periodically, Costello will run a Facebook “Talkback” segment where she poses a question to her dozen or so viewers, asks them to log onto her Facebook page and respond, and at the end of the show, she reveals what some of the opinions of those viewers.

Back in April of 2012, our team saw that Costello had posed the following question:

“Who is more radical? The President or the GOP?”

It was too juicy to pass up. We sent our army over to her page so that they could tell Costello what real Americans were thinking.

Costello closed her show by reading some of the responses. She was stunned that so many people had responded that Obama was the more radical one.

Before we posted Ms. Costello’s invite to answer the question on our page, her page had all of 19 comments. Our posting led to a record number of comments – 8,756, to be exact. As you can see from the chart, Ms. Costello Facebook segments weren’t exactly popular by any measure, until we asked our army to engage.

She had no idea what hit her.

You have to love it when a plan comes together, especially against Joe Biden.

During the raging debate over gun rights, Vice President Biden decided to take his peddling to an online townhall meeting with PARENTS Magazine. While there, Biden pulled a “a Biden” when he went off script and advocated defending one’s home with a double-barrel 12 guage shotgun, which we’re sure, wasn’t part of the White House talking points.

How did this gaffe happen? PARENTS magazine’s online townhall was an open invitation event and we sent our army over to the proceedings.

Poor Joe Biden also had no idea what hit him.

How did ForAmerica help make this happen? We knew the predictable sycophantic liberal media coverage of Hillary and her candidacy would only serve to help her, so we viewed it as imperative that our community educate their own friends and family regarding the truth about Hillary.

One of our key strategies has been to paint Hillary as out-of-touch, dishonest, and tie her to Obama EARLY this cycle.

Peer-to-peer endorsement is so vital in the world of politics. Ask yourself: Who do you trust in life? You don’t trust politicians, obviously. You don’t trust the media either. The answer is that human nature being what it is, you trust your friends; you trust your family.

Our community has responded and, in turn, shared our messaging with those in their own networks of friends and family. As a result, in the past year alone, three out of the top five, six out of the top ten, and 11 of the top 20 Facebook posts that mention Hillary Clinton were ForAmerica posts.

We also have videos, like this one, which reached over 4.5 million people and has been viewed more than 1.6 million times.

Obviously Hillary does a pretty good on job on her own inflicting wounds on herself, but as this Buzzfeed was pointing out early in 2015, Hillary’s negatives were on the rise before the e-mail scandal broke.

As you’ve no doubt heard by now, Hillary’s favorbility ratings are in the toilet, which is good news for us. But with who, exactly?

One of the unique features of the ForAmerica community is that 53% of our fanbase is female. Women vote more consistently than men, women are increasingly more in charge of the family checkbook and most importantly for our purposes, women subscribe to peer-to-peer endorsement. So it was important for us to know that we were talking to as many women as possible. Men think we can convince anyone of anything because we’re guys. Women subscribe more to peer-to-peer endorsement and can influence more people.

Men have always had a low opinion of Hillary, but this year, women have turned against her, despite the historical appeal of her candidacy. Check out these headlines:
