Young Trump Super-Fan Moved to Tears When He Meets His Hero

Margo M Martin X

Donald Trump campaigned in Philadelphia on Saturday where he made a stop at Tony and Nick's Steaks.

There he met a young supporter who had dressed up like the former president.

And boy did he make this kid's day.

The young man wearing a blue suit and blonde wig began to tear up as he smiled over his encounter with Trump.

Trump spoke with his young fan for a bit and then pulled out a $20 bill.

“You know who that is? That’s Andrew Jackson," Trump said of the $20 bill before he began to sign it.

“We’re going to add some value," Trump said as he autographed it.

The kid couldn't believe what was happening.

A large crowd had gathered to watch Trump at the restaurant and his interactions with the young man.

Trump then posed with him for a touching photo.

Trump told the crowd, “I like that kid. So if your parents don’t want you, I’ll take you!”

These images and video went viral for all the obvious reasons.

This entire scene happened before Trump spoke at Temple University.

The likely Republican presidential nominee left a $500 tip for the cheesesteaks he ordered and told the servers "no tax on tips," repeating a campaign promise he made in Las Vegas earlier this month to end taxation on servers' tips if he is re-elected.

The owner of Tony and Nick’s Steaks, Nicky Lucidonio, said to Fox Business that Trump visiting his restaurant was “unbelievable."

“It was just unbelievable,” Lucidonio said. “He was talking to people, you know, they’re asking questions."

"He’s answering them," Lucidonio added. "He’s signing hats. He signed and everything.”

It was quite the day for Philly and Pennsylvania.

A recent Marist College poll showed Trump leading Joe Biden by two points in Pennsylvania, the state of Biden's birth, 47 percent to 45 percent.
